Terms and conditions

This is an English translation provided for information. In case of any difference between versions, the Romanian version prevails.

These terms set out the rules for using the MAHÉ Moments service. By using the editor or saving an invitation, you agree to them.

Who provides the service

MAHÉ Moments is run by Ciobanu Daniel-Marius, a private individual, on the website mahe.ro. Contact: moments@mahe.ro.

What we offer

MAHÉ Moments lets you create a digital invitation for a wedding, a christening, a wedding and christening, a birthday or another party, send it to your guests through a link and receive their replies in a private dashboard.

Beta period. The service is currently in beta and offered free of charge. Some features may change or be added along the way. Invitations published for free during the beta stay free, with no later costs. If we introduce prices for new invitations, we will show them clearly before any order.

No account, just an admin link

You don't need an account. When you save your invitation you receive an admin link with a secret key, which you use to edit the invitation and see the replies. Keep it safe and don't send it to your guests: anyone with this link can edit the invitation. If you lose it, write to us from the email address used for notifications and we will help you.

Responsibility for content

You are responsible for the texts, photos and video messages you add, including the people who appear in them. Please only add content you have the right to use, and do not publish:

photos or videos of other people without their consent or the right to do so;
illegal, offensive or discriminatory content, or content that infringes the rights of others;
sensitive personal data that isn't needed for the event.

We reserve the right to deactivate invitations that break these rules.

Video message

The video message stays hosted on YouTube or Vimeo, in your own account, and is subject to those platforms' rules. MAHÉ Moments does not store the video, only its link. If you delete it or make it private, the button in the invitation stops working.

Rights to content

Your texts, photos and video messages remain yours. You only give us permission to store them and show them to your guests while the invitation is active. The template designs, the photo masks, the colouring pages and games in the kids' pack, the code and the other elements of the service belong to MAHÉ. You may use the printable materials for your event, but you may not sell or distribute them for any other purpose. The music tracks in the library are used under their providers' licences and may only be played within the invitations.

Availability

We do everything we can to keep invitations available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, especially during the beta. We recommend downloading the list of replies from your dashboard from time to time, using the export button.

Data retention and deletion

Invitations, photos and replies are kept for up to 6 months after the date of the event, then deleted. You will find the details in our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

During the beta the service is offered free of charge, as available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses caused by the temporary unavailability of the service or by information entered incorrectly in the invitation.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version is published on this page, with the date of the update.
